SPIN EARTH2

I’m catching my bus in a few hour to Brazil. But, before I go I want to share with you my latest and last video for Spin Earth.

The End of an Era

I don’t want to leave Buenos Aires. It’s home. It’s big, dumb, and loud but I love it all the same.

Days like today just really make me nostalgic for a past that’s still my dwindling present.

Ate some oats. Went to a park and made friends with a group of picknickers. Got interviewed by the news for a story about picnickers in the park. Threatened by a crazy homeles man. Participated in sing a long. Tried to tightrope walk. Ate ice cream.

I leave for Brazil on Tuesday and while I’m ready to start traveling, I’m not ready to give up my life here…

Sloth

I gained 5 pounds. I finally crossed the 130 mark and maybe even regressed a notch on my belt. I attribute it to the pounds of ice cream and the many pints of Quilmes I’ve gulped down since my return to the “Paris of South America.” With only a week left in this wondrous city I don’t feel too guilty about indulging in the finer things in life. Such as pizza every night for dinner. When you live in a bar you don’t really have many other options. I blame my weight gain and subsequent “fat person” laziness to not updating my blog. Forgive me…
